For most parents, morning take-offs can be chaotic.  Whether you’re getting the kids off to child care of school, scooting everyone out the door on time often seems more like a race than a relaxed, regular routine.  But getting everyone on their way is only part of the challenge.  Making sure everyone has what they need – on the day they need it – is the real brainteaser.  The details to remember multiply exponentially as children get older and become involved in more activities.  And, need I say, the more kids you have, the bigger the hurdle.

 

There will always be some mornings that will make you want to pull your hair out.  That’s just the nature of a lively family on the go.  But with some organization and pre-planning, the mad-dash can be replaced with smoother sailing.

Saturday, Oct 18:  Annual Family Back-to-School Potluck, 4:30-6:30pm. 

Please sign-up on the  bulletin board in the hallway.

 

Wed & Thursday Oct 22 & 23:  Picture Days,

3pm-4pm             

                         For Half-Day students: 

                                    (1) Parents have the choice to keep your child at school

                                          until 3:15pm on Oct 22 or Oct 23

                 OR (2)  Parents/ Grandparents could bring the child back to

                                                                      school between 3-4pm on Oct 22 or Oct 23.

  Thursday, Oct 30:   Dress-up Day

   Field Trip to Live Oaks

   Little People will visit Live Oaks Adult Center at 10:30am.  Mrs. Amy will carve a

   pumpkin and tell the Pumpkin Parable.  Grandpas and Grandmas from Live Oaks will

   give away candies and treats!

 

  Each child is asked to wear a costume on that day.  Costumes such as ghost, witch

  and scary characters are not allowed.  (Please prepare change of clothes.)
